Aspiring Millionaire - recap

I set the challenge to become a millionaire when I was 24, nearly 25. I decided I wanted it by my 30th birthday. Considering the wage we were on, where I was living and how things were shaping up in my life it did not really seem possible.
The past year and a half have proved to be very interesting and have brought about some significant changes in my life that I could not have imagined when I started this blog. I know without a doubt I will achieve my goal easily now and have decided I want to be completely financially free.

I have learnt so much on my journey to becoming a millionaire and have meet some really great people along the way, both online and in real life. I have been truly inspired but what people have overcome or are dealing with and am so touched by the support I have recieved and the encouragement. Yes, I have been faced with negativity, which has really hurt when I was starting out. Now it doesn't bother me.

Anyway, since I have been reflecting and since there are quite a few new followers/visitors I thought I would share with you some of my favourite posts since the beginning of my blog.

Doing the 50 questions to free your mind can help you see things differently.

Often we can get so hung up on what we haven't achieved on our Bucket Lists that we forget what we have achieved. So I decided to write things I have accomplished before writing my new bucket list.

Comparing our wants vs needs can have a huge impact on our savings.

The real cost of stuff might change your view before you buy the next thing 'you must' have.

6 savings plans gives you some options for ways to save money and there is something for everyone.

Hope you like them.

  1. It is important to look at the achievements, I think it helps you stay on track for the things you are yet to do.

People will always be negative, they are unable to step outside the box, be an individual and think for themselves. Ignore them as you will do so much more in life, be an interesting person and actually do the things you want (yeah I have kind of thought a lot about that one).

  2. Thanks for the recap - you've come so far, it's fantastic to hear that you're so positive about achieving your goal!
