Aren’t you tired of cowering and hiding each time tax season draws closer? How then can you brave tax season without fear? Maybe it’s time for a plan of action. Maybe it’s finally time you took matters into your own hands and looked tax season in the eye and said, “I am a tax hero and you’ve got nothing on me!”

Let’s be honest, tax season can be a tad daunting. The truth is doing your taxes is just one of those things you learn as you do. But there’s always a start and this just might be it! 1. That's a great inforgraphic! I probably like it so much though because I am into superheroes! I agree that taxes aren't that complicated. You just need to be able to follow along and know how to search for the answer if you don't know it.

  2. Oh yes, tax season. I'm usually ahead of the game and have taxes filed no later than mid-March. But this year, I'm running behind. I just can't muster up the energy to do them (but obviously I will before the 15th!) I think in my case, taxes are no fun because I don't get money back and I usually owe a little. Ugh is all I can say.

  3. Good suggestions although there is an exception to the "File Early" suggestion. If you end up owing, then there is no reason to give the government your money before you have to do so! The key is to prepare your returns early. If you're getting a refund, then file immediately. If you owe, hold off filing until the deadline.

  4. @Jon I love superheroes too!
@Little House it's good you are usually ahead of the game. Owing a little is better than owing a lot.
@Mr. Utopia true, only file early if you are getting a refund.
